As part of our One Read program, featuring the book "Migrations," learn about some of the unique and spectacular migration patterns that exist in creatures from tiny insects to large mammals. Dr. Robin Hirsch-Jacobson, professor of biology at William Woods University.
Professor Hirsch-Jacobson will discuss how animals are able to undergo these migratory feats as well as why they undertake this — at times very dangerous — migratory behavior. Additionally, many migratory animals are threatened or endangered, and we will cover why migratory animals are at risk.
