Have you ever considered raising chickens? Join us for an engaging session with Dr. Tatijana Fisher, assistant professor and poultry specialist with Lincoln University Cooperative Extension. Dr. Fisher’s research focuses on small-flock poultry production, with particular emphasis on heritage breeds and outdoor production systems. She uses the information from her research program to help small- and medium-scale poultry producers in Missouri establish and improve their operations.

You'll learn about breed selection, chicken housing and equipment, nutrition and feeding, egg handling, biosecurity and more. You'll also learn about common challenges and practical solutions to make your chicken-keeping experience a success. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned poultry keeper looking to improve your flock, this program has something for you!

Adults and teens. Please register.
