The "Mornings at the River" series creates opportunities for little ones and their parents, grandparents or caregivers to spend one-on-one time exploring, discovering and making memories together at the Missouri River. This week's theme is "Shell-ebrate Turtles & Tunes," so pack your boogie shoes! Most little ones love to sing along and dance to music. What's better than music by the river? Violet Vonder Haar will bring the river jams, and we'll meet some of the cool turtles that call the Missouri River watershed their home, plus you can visit the library bookmobile.
Missouri River Relief has partnered with First Chance for Children and AmeriCorps to bring this year's "Mornings at the River" to Columbia. They also thank our sponsors, Carol Grove and the Boone County ARPA Funding, for supporting this program.
