Join us for this monthly public policy discussion, this time focused on artificial intelligence (AI) with speaker J. Scott Christianson, associate teaching professor emeritus at the University of Missouri-Columbia and former director of its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Attendees will consider at AI’s long‑term risks to democracy, such as the automation of political communication, the concentration of power and the erosion of trustworthy information, alongside its impacts on the economy and jobs, such as shifts in white‑collar work, productivity and wages, and the practical guardrails communities can champion.
