The first person to serve as poet laureate of Missouri, Walter Bargen has over 25 books of poetry to his name. His awards include a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, the Chester H. Jones Foundation Award and the William Rockhill Nelson Award.
Clarence Wolfshohl is a professor emeritus at William Woods University. Since his first publication in The Road Apple Review, he has been active in the small press realm as a writer and publisher for over 50 years, publishing poetry and nonfiction in many journals, both print and online.
