Columbia/Boone County Director of Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) Rebecca Roesslet will discuss the status of public health in 2026.
Rebecca Roesslet became the director of PHHS on October 7, 2024. Before that, she served as the assistant director beginning in May 2022, responsible for day-to-day operations of PHHS, management of personnel, assisting with financial management, collaboration with Boone County and assuring department compliance with local, state and federal policies, ordinances and protocols. Roesslet began her career at PHHS in 2003 as a social services supervisor, a position that she held for 10 years when she moved on to be a senior planner in June 2013.
