Join us for a virtual tour of the Midwest Genealogy Center, one of the nation’s largest public genealogy libraries. Guided by MGC staff, you will explore the 52,000-square-foot library located in Independence, Missouri, home to an ever-growing collection that includes over 250,000 books, more than 10,000 maps, miles of microfilm and access to over two dozen genealogy databases. Spanning two floors, the tour highlights features such as display cases, the DIY Memory Lab, the “Tell Me a Story” oral history program, the archive and more! We're celebrating our Summer Reading program theme, "Unearth a Story."™
