Inspired by Marcellus's collection of treasures and Tova's childhood home in the One Read book "Remarkably Bright Creatures," Boone County History and Culture Center Executive Director Chris Campbell, along with genealogist Nancy Thomas and Digital Imaging Lab manager Brian Flanagin, will discuss preservation and curation — what objects we preserve, how we preserve them and why. How does a local museum create space for stories, memories and connection? What family heirlooms and sentimental items do we keep and pass on?
