A Workshop for Child Care Providers

Learn how to avoid burnout as a child care professional. Presenter Vicki Davolt from SOAR, will share strategies and lead a discussion to help you develop and maintain open, friendly, cooperative and respectful relationships with families and co-workers. You'll be invited to participate in small group activities and learn and problem-solving strategies. (2 clock hours, DHSS-SCCR approved.)

Presenter Vicki Davolt, MSW, LCSW from SOAR, will share strategies and lead a discussion to help child care providers develop and maintain open, friendly, cooperative and respectful relationships with families and co-workers through a strength-based approach. You'll learn the importance of mental wellness as a part of overall health, and discover strategies for creating positive, supportive interactions when caring for children.

You'll be invited to participate in small group activities that help build ongoing self-reflection, self-assessment and problem-solving strategies to promote professional growth. (2 clock hours, DHSS-SCCR approved.)
