The local organization Race Matters, Friends (RMF) supports a community bail fund that helps people being held before trial on nonviolent charges to get released from the Boone County Jail. Learn about how the bail process works and why a community bail fund is necessary from Peggy Placier, a member of RMF and the League of Women Voters.
