Author Jocelyn Cullity will discuss the joys and challenges of writing historical fiction at this virtual workshop. As a participant, you'll be encouraged to share your own experiences and work through exercises designed to flex your creative writing muscles.

In November, 2019, this Missouri author published "The Envy of Paradise," the sequel to her award-winning novel "Amah and the Silk-Winged Pigeons." Both books are set in 1850s India as England was colonizing the country. Dr. Cullity teaches in the BFA in Creative Writing program in the School of Arts and Letters at Truman State University. Both books are available at Yellow Dog and Skylark bookshops in Columbia and on Amazon.
