Science on Wheels is a group aimed at engaging citizens across Missouri with science. This event will virtually connect you with scientists from the University of Missouri in a wide variety of subject areas. Come prepared to listen, learn and ask plenty of questions.

These guest scientists will talk about their research topics:

  • Laurie Agosto, first-year PREP scholar — microbiology and immunology
  • Sebastian Cardona-Ramirez, doctor in the Veterinary School of Medicine — musculo-skeletal diseases and 3D-printed customized implants
  • Paige Gruenke, Ph.D. candidate in biochemistry — the biology of HIV
  • Victoria Hamlin, graduate student in biological sciences — how the brain and immune system interact
  • Skyler Kramer, Ph.D. candidate, MU Institute for Data Science and Analytics — single-molecule technology for studying cells and tissues
  • Roxana Martinez Campuzano, graduate student in biological engineering — the simulation of bone behavior and bone regeneration
