In 1990, Miep Gies was the first woman to receive the prestigious Raoul Wallenberg Award. Given to persons of exemplary courage, selflessness and success against great odds, the Wallenberg award honored this humble Dutch woman for her aid to Anne Frank's family. Without Miep, we would not have Anne Frank’s diary. This virtual program is a conversation with Miep as portrayed by national award-winning actress and storyteller Megan Wells. Miep will tell her story of hope, followed by an engaging Q&A.
