Join us to discuss "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd. The story follows Hetty "Handful" Grimke, an enslaved girl, and Sarah, the daughter of the wealthy Grimke family. The novel begins when Sarah is given ownership of Handful as her handmaid on her eleventh birthday, and follows the two women over the next 35 years of their lives.
