In September 2019, an article in the journal Science quantified a net loss of almost 3 billion birds in North America since 1970 — that’s about 29% of our continent’s birds. Learn more about this widespread decline, what the bird conservation community is doing in response and what you can do to help birds. Big or small, there are actions you can take today that can help slow these declines for generations to come. Presented by Sarah Kendrick, State Ornithologist from the Missouri Department of Conservation.
