Musician and songwriter Paul Kaplan has been an enthusiastic participant in the folk music world since the late 1960s. His songs “I Had an Old Coat,” “Henry the Accountant,” “Call Me the Whale” and many others have been covered by such musical legends as Jay Ungar and Molly Mason; Sally Rogers and Claudia Schmidt; Priscilla Herdman; Ed McCurdy; Lui Collins; and Sharon, Lois and Bram (Nickelodeon’s “Elephant Show”). Last May, Paul released his fifth album of original songs, "We Shall Stay Here." It has been among the 25 most-played albums on the international Folk DJ chart since then.
