Please join the library and the Missouri State Museum to learn about some of Missouri’s most significant trailblazers in this series. What is a trailblazer, you might ask? A trailblazer is someone who has impacted our culture through major events, leadership, innovation and more! Today's program will highlight Missouri women in the film industry.

Lights! Camera! Action! Missourians have contributed to the history of cinema since the earliest days of movie making. Dr. Sarah S. Jones of the Missouri State Museum celebrates the lives of Missouri women in the film industry. We will examine their connections to our state, their cinematic work and their lives.

Adults, teens and school-aged kids. Please register to receive a Zoom link.

If you miss the live event, you can watch the recorded event later; check the library's YouTube channel for the link.
