September is here, and with it comes one of the busiest times of year. School is starting back up and lots of folks are settling into new places, which can make it very hard to find time to cook healthy, filling and (most importantly) tasty meals as often as we should. How can you ease the time crunch and get yourself well-fed more quickly and easily? The answer is meal prep magic! By preparing most of your meals ahead of time and freezing what you don’t plan to eat right away, you can cut down on your daily cooking time.
If you're intimidated by getting starting with meal prepping, we're here to help! We'll talk about storage options, choosing recipes and planning your preps to get the most out of your cooking time. Host Stellan Harris will be joined by Matthew Swearngin, who previously hosted our "Cocktails and Mocktails" program. Matthew will share his insights into cooking more efficiently with sheet pan dinners, and we’ll also offer easy breakfast options and ideas on how to stretch any recipe into more meals without compromising flavor. We hope that you’ll be able to join us, and we promise it’ll be worth your time!
Adults and teens. Please register to get a Zoom link. We'll also record the program for later viewing on our YouTube channel.
