Please join the library and the Missouri State Museum to learn about some of Missouri’s most significant trailblazers in this series. What is a trailblazer, you might ask? A trailblazer is someone who has impacted our culture through major events, leadership, innovation and more! Today's program will highlight Redd Foxx.
Born in St. Louis Missouri in 1922, John Elroy Sanford grew up to become the comedic legend known as Redd Foxx. Due to his generous nature, colorful nightclub acts during the civil rights era, and his television show Sanford & Son, Foxx became one of the most iconic personalities in entertainment. Please join Museum chief interpreter Carrie Hammond in a program featuring Redd Foxx’s life, career and a few of his famous friendships.
Adults, teens and school-aged kids. Please register to receive a Zoom link.
If you miss the live event, you can watch the recorded event later; check the library's YouTube channel for the link.
