Learn how to plan ahead to keep your stress levels lower, protect your mental well-being and preserve your stability during the busy period of the holidays. Members of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) have created a list of 59 ways to lower your stress level as you plan for the holidays and the long winter season. Families who live with mental health conditions have contributed these practical ideas to help each other cope, lower stress and experience more joy and wonder. Learn about these techniques in a live online presentation by Heather Harlan and Sarah Berke.

Heather Harlan is a health educator with the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services and a co-facilitator for NAMI Columbia. Sarah Berke is program manager for the Behavioral Health and Wellness Department at A.T. Still University and a NAMI volunteer. This event is sponsored by Children's Grove.

Adults. Please register to get a Zoom link. The presentation will also be recorded for later viewing on our YouTube channel.
