John Graham, owner of the Callaway Fields garden center, presents shrubs for all seasons, a comprehensive look at colorful, top-performing shrubs for the Mid-Missouri area. Saxon Brown, manager of the Opportunity Gardens program at Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, shares small-space gardens with big community impacts. 

John Graham has a B.S. in plant science from the University of Missouri and has been the owner of Callaway Fields, LLC for 18 years. Located in Mexico, MO, Callaway Fields sells annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, houseplants and succulents as well as hosting events and classes.

Saxon Brown studied education, agriculture and natural resources at Berea College in Kentucky. She has worked at local farms including the Salad Garden and Happy Hollow farm and currently manages the Opportunity Gardens program at Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture. Through the program, Saxon and the team work with hundreds of families per year installing container gardens, raised beds and in-ground gardens, then provide one-on-one mentoring for three years with each family.
