Home chefs looking for the next culinary adventure and new cooks wanting to expand their repertoires will enjoy this virtual cooking series. We explore different culinary topics, sharing recipes, techniques and resources related to food and cooking. You'll see a live recipe demonstration and walk-through by staff, and you'll get tips on easily recreating these dishes on your own. This program will help new and seasoned cooks alike.

We've entered into the part of the year where the temperature creeps up and the air-conditioning bill rises with it. This can make home cooking too hot to handle both for the chef and the pocketbook. And yet, with the bounty of late spring and early summer produce at hand and social occasions of all kinds being planned, there are also lots of reasons to get cooking. What's a home cook to do?

Worry not, dear viewer! This session will arm you with recipes and techniques to make delicious meals with the minimum of cooking! We’ll take advantage of ingredients that don’t need cooking to be delicious, while also imparting some techniques that highlight the best aspects of cold-prepared food. So, grab a cold drink and beat the heat by tuning in!

Adults and teens. Register to get a Zoom link. We'll also record the program for later viewing on our YouTube channel.
