Join us to watch "Legacy of the Andes: Indigenous Responses to the Current Civilizational Crisis," directed by Tracy L. Barnett and Hernán Vilchez, a documentary project from the Esperanza Project. Indigenous responses to crisis have much to teach the rest of the world — about health and wellness, spirituality and how to care for the planet we live on. From the Kallawaya and the Qhara Qhara of Bolivia to the Q’ero of Peru and the Salasaka of Ecuador, the principles of "sumak kawsay" (good living) mean drawing on ancestral wisdom and taking care of each other in the hard times. Join us for this in-person screening (run time of one hour) and Q&A with filmmaker and journalist Tracy L. Barnett.
Adults and teens.
