Columbia’s Historic Preservation Commission, in conjunction with CoMo Preservation and the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, will present an in-depth, hands-on historic preservation workshop exploring the topics of historic tax credits, historic districts and National Register Listings for Missouri residents. Explore the topics of historic tax credits, historic districts and National Register Listings for Missouri residents.
Participants will learn how to list their property on the National Register of Historic Places and how to apply for historic tax credits when considering the rehabilitation of historic residential and commercial properties in Missouri. The workshop will be led by staff members from the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, including grants manager Andrew Dial, National Register expert April Scott and historic tax credits expert Elizabeth Hornbeck.
