This social gathering for individuals living with dementia is a place to have fun, share experiences and stay connected. This month's theme is the wonders of Mid-Missouri. For adults experiencing any kind of dementia or cognitive decline, accompanied by a personal care partner. Registration is encouraged. Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council.
The "Memory Café" is a social gathering for individuals living with any form of dementia or cognitive decline and their care partners. It's a place to have fun, share experiences and stay connected. This month, we're learning about the natural wonders and historic sites that can be found right here in Mid-Missouri. Light refreshments served.
This program is not a form of respite care or a support group. Each participant experiencing dementia must be accompanied by a personal care partner during the program. Care partners are expected to participate. Registration is encouraged but not required.
Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
