Walter Bargen, Missouri's first poet laureate, will introduce us to selections from his new book "Until Next Time," as well as earlier poems. A collection of compelling, readable and relatable poems, "Until Next Time" holds the reader transfixed and transformed at the highest level of consciousness. Bargen is a prolific author with 23 published volumes of poetry including "Days Like This Are Necessary," "Trouble Behind Glass Doors" and "Too Quick for the Living." His past awards include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Copies of his books will be available for purchase and signing after the reading.
