Through first person narratives, poetry, song and commentary, Bobby highlights the key players, events and political forces that brought ordinary men and women into extraordinary circumstances. Lincoln, inaugurated just before the war and assassinated at its conclusion, is a central figure in this epic story of America trying to find a unified national identity.
