As part of this year's One Read community reading program, Skylark Bookshop is pleased to host a live in-person discussion about true-crime titles and trends for books being categorized in this genre. "Furious Hours" takes an interesting approach in style for true crime, and bookseller Carol Putnam will discuss how true-crime books have evolved in the last few years beyond the police procedural. Carol is an aficionado of this genre and, with her past work for the U.S. Department of Justice and as a private contractor, she brings a unique background to looking at crime titles.

Adults. Seating is limited, so please register to attend. Attendees are required to wear masks.
