You are invited to join KBIA, the Sharp End Heritage Committee and the City of Columbia’s CoMo200 Committee for a celebration of Columbia’s Black history and a chance to continue the conversations started in the bicentennial "You Don’t Say" dialogue series about the Black experience in Columbia.
Join the "You Don’t Say" team of educators, historians, producers and involved citizens, for a celebration and stimulating conversation about our history, our past and what it means for us going forward into the future we all want to see.
Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy music and refreshments. Performances by the poets of the OneMic Poetry Collective and the program emceed by KBIA producer/host T’Keyah Thomas will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The event is made possible with partnership from the Daniel Boone Regional Library, the State Historical Society of Missouri and with support from the City of Columbia’s CoMo200 Committee and Missouri Humanities.
