Everyone gets sick at some time, but millions of Americans can't take a single paid sick day to recover or to care for a child. It is far easier to take time off if you have access to paid leave, and there is growing support across the nation for paid family leave. What is the need for policies and legislation in Missouri on this subject? Hear from members of the League of Women Voters in Kansas City who have studied the issue and will present their findings.
