In honor of National County Government Month in April, we'll explore the vast resources you can find at the county courthouse when researching your family tree. Often, county-level records are the most easily available records you can find on an ancestor. From land deeds, wills, probate records and marriage licenses to business licenses and any tax issue, many records can be searched. We will explore the various courts and offices of a typical American courthouse and show examples of the types of records that you might find on your family.
