"Party With the Stars" is back after a pandemic hiatus! The moon is our star tonight, because we are just five days from a supermoon, the largest full moon of 2022! We'll start inside with a program about this orb and why the coming full moon is so super. Then, weather permitting, we will head outside for close-up telescope views of our moon and its beautiful Sea of Rains (Mare Imbrium) in prominent view. All attendees will receive a free moon map and information on how to watch the supermoon when it appears on July 13.
Hosted by Val Germann and co-sponsored by the Central Missouri Astronomical Association.
Ages 6-adult. Please register all members of your group. (Enter at the Gene Marting Secret Garden, west end of main parking lot.)
