At this kids program, we'll listen to Melina Valdelomar's bilingual book "Zari & Marinita: Adventures in a Costa Rican Rainforest," practice breathwork along with yoga poses and then do a craft featuring rainforest animals. Led by Cynthia Chasteen, Ph.D., RCYT, and director of migrant education for the State of Missouri. Ages 6-10, with parents observing or nearby. Please register.
Embark on a mindfulness and movement adventure through Costa Rica. Kids will listen to Melina Valdelomar's bilingual Spanish/English book "Zari & Marinita: Adventures in a Costa Rican Rainforest," practice breathwork along with yoga poses and then do a craft featuring rainforest animals.
Led by Cynthia Chasteen, Ph.D., RCYT, ERYT-200, a former elementary Spanish teacher. Cynthia facilitates yoga and meditation classes for children and adults and is the director of migrant education for the State of Missouri and an adjunct professor in MU's College of Education and Human Development.
Ages 6-10. Parents are welcome to observe or be somewhere in the library. Please register.
