This year's Summer Reading theme is all about having new experiences and learning new skills. In this spirit, join us for a meditation workshop to help manage stress. We will explore the definition of stress, its causes and triggers and the types people experience; and focus on practical methods to manage our stress including meditation, discussion and reflective activities. Bring a notebook and pen.
This workshop is led by Padmapriya Mahendarkar (Sister Priya), the center coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris St. Louis Meditation Center and a raja yoga meditation practitioner since 2002. Her classes are simple, engaging and motivational. Her guided meditation commentaries are soothing and provide deep experiences to the listener. She is also the author of five self-help books and five meditation albums.
