Dr. Cindy Dudenhoffer will lead a discussion of this year's One Read runner-up title, "Playground" by Richard Powers. Join us to explore this narratively complex novel following a friendship and its collapse, the rise of AI and the fate of the small Polynesian island of Makatea. 

Dudenhoffer is a teaching professor at the University of Missouri in the College of Education and Human Development, the associate director of the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies and an AI Faculty Fellow and director of the WeMake Learn and Design Lab.
