Este evento pretende resaltar la idea de que los científicos pueden provenir de cualquier origen y que seguir una carrera científica está al alcance de todos. Le conectaremos con científicos de MU que presentarán su investigación en áreas que van desde la conservación de plantas y animales hasta la comprensión y el tratamiento de enfermedades humanas. ¡También tendremos una breve charla sobre cómo el capítulo local de SACNAS apoya a los chicanos/hispanos y nativos americanos a lo largo de sus carreras! Venga preparado para escuchar, aprender y hacer preguntas.

Science on Wheels has partnered with the Mizzou chapter of Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) to present Science on Wheels in Spanish! This event highlights the idea that scientists can come from any background and that pursuing a career in science is within reach for everyone. We will connect you with scientists from MU who will discuss their research in subject areas, ranging from conservation of plants and animals to understanding and treating human disease. We will also have a short talk about how the local SACNAS chapter supports Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans throughout their career! Come prepared to listen, learn, and ask questions.
