ID Access Clinic

Join us for an ID access clinic, where you can get help gathering the necessary documents to obtain a state ID. Our team of volunteers will assist you with filling out forms, gathering materials and providing financial assistance if needed. Limited transportation services will also be available thanks to our volunteers. All services are free and open to the community! Adults.

Adults. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointment required.

What can I expect at the appointment?
At your appointment, we'll go through everything, and make sure you have the documents you'll need in order to get your birth certificate and ID. Then we'll give you vouchers to pay for the documents, if needed. You'll need to get both documents from the appropriate government offices, like the Vital Records Office and the DMV.

What should I bring?
Bring any kind of ID that you have (including photos of expired, lost , or stolen IDs), anything that can prove your social security number (like your social security card or a pay stub), and something that proves where you live (like a utility bill in your name). You may not need all of those things, and we won't turn you away if you have nothing! We'll work through everything during the appointment.

Hosted by the library in collaboration with the Missouri ID Access Coalition, Turning Point Day Center, Como Mobile Aid and Room at the Inn. And sponsored by the Ashrei Foundation, through the North City Photo ID Project out of St. Louis, which offers guidance on the process of applying for a Missouri non-driver photo identification card, including acquiring the required documentation.
