Join the Genealogical Society of Boone County and Central Missouri for a morning of learning and celebration of their 50th anniversary. Two presentations — "Finding Your Genealogy Roots With Help From DBRL" and "How to Use Legacy Family Tree" — will be followed by a cake-and-punch reception. Adults.
It all began 50 years ago this fall at the Columbia Public Library. Local genealogists and family historians started their own genealogical society after a class was offered in adult education. Thus began a 50-year service to this community and for many whose ancestors passed through central Missouri, leaving their records behind. This group has helped people find their families and preserve their histories for future generations. Join the Genealogical Society of Boone County and Central Missouri (GSCM) to celebrate this milestone achievement and look forward to many more years of service to our community!
