Jeni Mae McKenzie has a background in landscaping and botany and is the owner of Ophelia’s Plants and Flowers. Her talk, “Houseplant Killers Anonymous,” will assure you that you can indeed grow thriving plants inside with a few tips and tricks.
Dr. Tim Evans is an assistant professor and veterinary toxicologist at University of Missouri-Columbia. He uses a mix of hands-on learning and humor to teach people of all ages about toxic plants and keeping pets safe. His talk, “Pet-Friendly Gardens,” will cover what plants are toxic to animals.
