Our fall planet parade really gets going this month as mighty Jupiter joins Saturn in our skies. A nearly full moon will add variety on this early fall evening. We’ll start the program inside with a slide show on the night's moon and planets and then, if the weather permits, head outside for some terrific telescopic viewing. All of our guests will receive a souvenir moon map that can be used year-round.
"Party With the Stars" has now been presented at the library by Val Germann of the Central Missouri Astronomical Association for 40 years! Thank you so much, Val!
