Mr. Paten's presentation will include a slideshow and a talk on this locally important transportation corridor, as well as a display of artifacts and railroad memorabilia from the author's personal collection.
Marty Paten is the founder of Boone County Historical Investigation Services and the owner of H.A.G.R. Publishing. He is the author of "The Columbia Branch Railroad" and is one of the foremost authorities on the history of what was Boone County's earliest functioning railroad.
