Poetry and Summer Treats

Friends RoomEnjoy music, movement, crafts, conversation and light refreshments. This month, we will share favorite poems and engage in a fun activity to write a group poem. Summer treats will be provided for all to enjoy. For adults experiencing any kind of dementia or cognitive decline, accompanied by a personal care partner. Registration is encouraged.
The Memory Café is a social gathering for individuals living with dementia and their care partners. It's a place to have fun, share experiences and stay socially connected. This month, we will share favorite poems and engage in a fun activity to write a group poem. Summer treats will be provided for all to enjoy.
This program is not a form of respite care or a support group. Each participant experiencing dementia must be accompanied by a personal care partner during the program. Care partners are expected to participate. Registration is encouraged but not required.
Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
