October's program will address the importance of the data collected by the U.S. census. Required every 10 years under the U.S. Constitution, the next one will take place in April 2020. Census data is critical to determining legislative districts, allocating funds and more. Professors Bill Elder and John Blodgett will share their expertise from their past work with the Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis at the University of Missouri for the Missouri State Census Data Center.
