As part of the One Read program exploring themes in the book, "North Woods," join us for a screening of Terence Malick's "Days of Heaven" (1978). Winner of an Academy Award for Best Cinematography, the film is a visually arresting portrait of life in America at the turn of the 20th century. After accidentally killing his supervisor, a Chicago steelworker flees to a farm in Texas with his girlfriend and his sister. Like "North Woods," this story begins with lovers on the run, highlights natural landscapes and echos some of the book's change-over-time elements. You can pick up free tickets to this show at Ragtag starting at noon the day of the show. See full policy below.
Adults. (Rated PG, 14+ recommended; 94 minutes.)
Ragtag Free Ticket Policy: Tickets to free events are available at our box office starting at noon the day of the show (unless otherwise noted). No more than four free tickets will be given to one person. A free ticket guarantees you a seat until 10 minutes before showtime and not after. If all tickets have been distributed and there are open seats at 10 till, we will start seating the theater from the waiting list (queue). Ticket holders will continue to be admitted at this time if seats are available. This policy allows us to start on time and give the audience a distraction-free experience.
