Explore your creative side with this series of classes designed to help you express yourself and grow creatively. Experienced instructor and accomplished artist Jenn Wiggs will instruct you on core principles of watercolor painting. Beginners are welcome and encouraged!
In this eight-week course, students aged 55 and older will learn the fundamentals of working with watercolors. Through working from observation, technical demonstrations, focused painting projects and hands-on instruction, you'll become familiar with the materials and techniques of watercolor and develop skills that will enable you to progress to the creation of more advanced work and pursue your own creative vision.
Paints and supplies provided. An exhibit of student work is planned for Saturday, December 6, 1-2 p.m. at the Columbia Public Library.

Adults, age 55 and older. Classes happen in Columbia each Tuesday, September 30-November 18. Please register and plan to attend the whole eight-week series.
